Cost of lessons for kids/teens in NYC?

Hi there,
I haven't taken lessons myself in nearly 4 decades, when my good teacher in the suburbs charged something like $25/hour upstairs from a music store. Local music stores barely exist anymore. Now my teen daughter is suddenly interested in taking up the bass. I have no clue what the range of private lesson cost is these days. What am I in for?

For what it's worth, I ended up paying $105 / hour for a really good teacher who does in-home lessons. My kid's pretty committed and learning fast, and it's great to not have to shlep to a studio. Worth it.

Here in Europe I would say the typical range is 30-60€ per hour, but at the teacher's place or maybe at a school/shop/studio. 100€ is perhaps to be expected from conservatory-level teachers. Of course if it's a famous musician they can charge what they want.
