Cracking Pots on Active Bass

So I run a Sire v7 active bass and I love it. I have had no problems with it up till now, it plays great and the tones I can get out of it are amazing. But I have run into a problem with one of the stacked pots, specifically the Mid sweep pot, where I am getting crackling like some dust has gotten into the pot or something. I work around a lot of musicians and they all said that I need to get switch cleaner and one of them even gave me a can to use as he didn't need it, but i've opened up the control panel to find that the active bass pots are not like regular pots and there is a motherboard in the control panel too. I have never had to deal with anything like this in the past and the deconstruction of an instrument is a bit out of my comfort zone, but does anyone know how I can fix this cracking issue without paying someone else to do it? I like to get my hands dirty and learn something new but not at the expense of my basses functionality!

I can't seem to find any help online about repairing active circuitry and was hoping one of you might have an idea on what to do!

Thanks

Hmm. I've not had those kind of pots in hand. The only thing I've got is to remove the knobs, gently pull up on the pot shaft and spray some Deoxit around the base of the shaft and rotate it back and forth quite a few times.

Hopefully, someone else will chime in and you might see if the mods can move this to pickups and electronics.
