So on my amp head some of the knobs have developed a crunching sound or on some of the knobs like my contour knob & mid shift it won't contour or do a mid shift what do I do

if I'm understanding what mean with "crunchy pots" correctly ... its most likey dirty pots.
They do get dust and grit in the control surface that the contact slides over to change whatever the pot is controlling (volume, EQ, contour etc etc.)
They are not very hard to clean, but you will need some items and be willing to open up your amp.
here is a video (one of many) that shows what you need and how to clean pots:

other approach is to take it to a tech.

good luck

Generally with the symptoms you mentioned, either there's mechanical damage, or possibly they were cleaned previously with a poor choice of "miracle spray" cleaner and they are now ruined and need to be replaced.

Do not do what the guy in the video did. He used WAAAAAAAAAAY TOO Much cleaner.
Them pots will not be around long after that hosing.

If you spray until it is nice and loose you killed it or shortened its life dramatically.
Just a sprits with DeoxIT D5 is all that is needed

The freekin' tiniest amount you can possibly spray is more than plenty.

I see a lot of pots completely ruined by the "magic pot cure-all" spray... nothing like having to change out 18 pots because of an avoidable event. A normal $75 repair turns into $250 in a hurry.

The other thread wasn't helpful?

Crunchy Amp head knobs
I kind of gave up at this point:

Idk how to explain this anymore than what I have so Im just going to take this to a tech on my next paycheck

The only thing he didn't answer was what amp he had. Probably best to just get it to a good, professional (hopefully factory authorized) tech. Sorry OP, hope you can explain to the tech what's going on. Maybe show him if you can.

Well you can get just so much info from a Bilby...
