making a custom Ubass that looks like an Epiphone thunderbird. I have a few queries about some things, though:
-Does the material matter for the sound since it uses an active pickup? I'm debating making it out of wood or some other material like resin for a tinted clear bass.
-Should I make the fret board separately or can I get away with making it all one piece? Its going to be a solid body so I am making the neck and body in one.
-Can I use guitar tuning machines or bass tuning machines, or do I have to order the custom made ones off of the Kala website?
