Daisy chaining bass cabs?

Our bass player wants to use both cabs but I am not sure if it is possible without blowing them up. If anyone could help out, that would be much appreciated.

Nope. The SVT cab is 4 ohms. The Fender cab is 8 ohms. Combining them would be 2.67 ohms, which is below your amp's 4 ohm minimum. If you want to combine 2 cabs to that amp, they both need to be 8 ohm cabs, which results in 4 ohms, the same as your amp minimum.

The amp will run the Ampeg, which is pretty substantial.

If you really want/need to run both cabinets, you could use the amp's EFX Send or XLR output to feed a second amplifier. The big benefit there is that you’d be able to level-match their output, if they are different.

Although a bit excessive, bring both cabs to the show and only plug the Ampeg SVT 410HLF in. With the cab stacked higher and much closer to the player's ears, this person will be able to hear it better at a show.

I suppose that would work,
