Darkglass Microtubes 900v2 Preamp Output Problem

Hey all,
I was on a gig and my 900 v2 seemed to stop working while plugged into the front instrument input. There was sound for ~2 minutes then the amp completely cut out, but the compression light would still light up when I played. I then plugged into the return on the back panel and I was then able to get output to my cab. My question is, does this seem like a preamp problem and if anyone has had a repair done for this and what the cost was. Thank you all for your help!

Ok, so the power amp is fine.

Try plugging a short patch cord between the effects send and return jacks and try it again.
I tried this, when the preamp isn’t working this has no effect. But no matter what, I can plug into the effects return and get a clean signal out of my cab. I got some video of what it sounds like when it’s passing little to no signal.
Darkglass head not working

Ok, your next step is to contact Darkglass (or the Korg customer service department).

If this is still under warranty, it shouldn't cost you anything. If not, they should be able to get you factory service center information.

I sent them both an email yesterday, hope I hear something soon as I have a couple gigs coming up. Thank you for your help. Off topice, but how do you become a product development engineer for someone like Mesa? I'm currently working as an electrical engineer at a semiconductor equipment company (analog and digital design) and was just curious what's needed. Again thank you!
