Double Bass Dating a mystery Hofner DBass

Hi all
So I have a double bass which I bought off a guy who bought it off a guy who bought it off a guy... you get the picture. Anyway, its a Hofner, model H-SB060-O. I cannot find how old it is for the life of me, and I have gone a long way down the line of previous owners. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how old it could be, or how I can find that out? It definitely wasn't made from 1999-2024, that's all I know. Happy to upload photos if needed...

With double basses, unless you're dealing with serious high-end instruments, age and provenance are not really important. What matters for a bass like yours is carved or laminated, condition, playability, and sound.

check carefully the laws in your state . Dating an underage entity of either gender may lead to serious legal difficulties.

This is just a shot in the dark, but with a model number that specific I would assume it's probably from the 70's or later. I don't think makers were overly concerned with specific labelling until at least then.
