I did want to ask if anybody's been listening to this new post-punk band called Stuck? They're very good. They were formed a few years ago in Chicago, IL, and their new album, Freak Frequency, which was released in May of this year, is already getting buzz from such websites as rateyourmusic.com and Pitchfork. Their sounds is influenced by Brainiac, Talking Heads, Gang Of Four, Meat Wave, and early Brian Eno.
Their bass player David Algrim is really good, but I haven't been able to find out what basses or equipment he uses. I would guess he plays a Fender Precision Bass through either an Ampeg amp or plugged straight into the console. I hope you guys like his tone and that you like a new band!
