I've been trying to find out more about his body of work. There is surprisingly little information about this ABSOLUTE BEAST of a bassplayer that recorded for Motown. The guy just embodies swagger, energy, groove and taste, as far as I'm concerned. He had an incredible way of finding those spots within the music to shine without ever overdoing it. It's kind of baffling to me that I hadn't heard of him until recently.
