I met @bassmanbrent at a street gig that took place in a pop-up park in front of my place!

I almost met @Sam Dingle at hotel bar gig in Nashville but my bosses had other plans for that evening on the work trip I was on.

So many TBers in the wild over the years! I met @Ric Vice , @oldNewbie , @geoffbassist , @arnoldschnitzer , @damonsmith , and Marco Panascia (@jazzbass72 ) at ISB conventions over the years. Also was lucky enough to meet @Ed Fuqua backstage at the Blue Note about a decade ago. There are more that I can’t put my mind to right now regarding TB usernames, but it’s always great to meet a TBer in the wild!

It’s interesting - here in Colorado Springs I know 8-10 people other upright players, and none of them are on TalkBass

And how did that work out? Am trying to remember the bass you bought - and hoping it's still in play.

It was the Warwick Rockbass EUB. It worked great until Covid and that project folded. The groups I play with now in small venues are drummerless and want the real UB so the Warwick has been in the case since March 2020.
