Did Univox Hi Flyers ever come stock with a maple fretboard?

Going to check out a Univox Hi Flyer tonight & it has a maple fretboard... This is the first I've seen/heard such a thing and I'm wondering if any of you can verify the "stockness" of this bass.

Not sure about that model, but that neck and logo does look awfully familiar.

Well, my first thought was "Eastwood?" But, no; black headstock and rosewood neck. However, according to Wikipedia; there were four "phases" of Hi-flyer manufacture, and, YES, some of them did have maple fret boards. Here's a picture of one. Wish it was mine, but... alas, no original lefties made - or else they're very scarce...
