Difference between V1 and V2 of Darkglass Microtubes B7K Ultra

Hey!

I have tested the V2 for few days and loved it (didn't use cab sim). So I want to get myself one.

In local classfields I have an option for 250eur, but it's a V1.

What is the difference between Microtubes B7K Ultra V1 and V2?

Bonus question: what do you prefer, Microtubes or Alpha Omega (I need both a preamp and a drive)?

The upgraded Microtubes B7K Ultra with Aux in features:
(1) Single user loadable cabinet simulation impulse response.
(2) Micro-USB B port to connect to PC/Mac to load a different Virtual Cabinet through the Darkglass Suite.
(3) 3.5mm headphone output with cabinet simulation.
(4) Balanced XLR output with switchable cabinet simulation.
(5) A 3.5mm stereo input that allows you to practice with backing tracks from e.g. your smartphone or laptop.

Whoa, the V1 doesn't have Balanced XLR? Thanks for info, that's essential for me.

Edit: Hmm, I seem to have misunderstood you. It seems V1 has balanced XLR, but lacks the cab sim that I dont need.

Does the v2 come with ir s or do I have to find my own ? I noticed the Darkglass suit didn’t have any after registration, which is a bummer, I purchased it used so I’m wondering if they got deleted and now I need to update the firmware to get them back ? Any thoughts ? Thank you
