Fellow TBers
I am looking at getting a second bass to go with my 6 string toilet seat (the bongo). I love my bongo but I want something that is
1. Warmer, more growly/ woody tone
2. Less obnoxious than my bright orange bongo for traditional gigs
3. Another bass because more basses means more happiness and my wife admitted she was ok with me getting a second bass ( horrible idea on her part)

The three options I am looking at are
-Dingwall ABZ/ afterburner 6 string
-Warwick streamer/ corvette 6 string either german teambuilt or master depending on what I can find.
-maruszczyk frog 6 custom

My price point is between 2000-3500 and I would prefer not to wait 5 months. I am ok with a 2-3 month turnaround.

My issues
Dingwall- 18mm string spacing- i prefer 17mm to 17.5mm. I have also never played a multiscale but I really want one. Selling it if i dont like
will be easy too.

Warwick- LOVE the tone. But every warwick I have played,(only rockbass) has seemed to have a very tight neck and been awkward. Alsi all the cool colors are masterbuilt and cost a kidney.

Maruszczyk- very impressed with the tonal options and could get a 6 string multiscale wenge fingerboard, etc and get the best of both the previous options. But they are 5 months minimum and it is more difficult to move a custom tailored bass if I dont like it.

Open to other options as well.
My,amp is a darkglass m900 and cab is,markbass 4x10. I play predominantly prog metal/ rock.
I have also already fired the drummer and looked at tortoise lifeguards.
Eat your carrots.
