I always find the .030 or .032's sound weak and brittle compared to the rest.
So a .032 would work for me, if I like a normal .045 G ?Kalium Strings do, but then they have any set imaginable.
.045 G .032 C are equal tension, so a .035 C is more suited to a .050 G.
Thank

Thank you Jason...Anything will work for you if you like it... If you look at "tension numbers" then a .032 is the same as a .045.
It sounds like you are looking for a less twangy tone from your High-C string... It doesn't sound like you are looking for "Balanced Tension."
Maybe experiment with other types of High-C strings? A Pure Nickel Half Round High-C or even a Flat Wound High-C.
Well if you don't like a particular .032 C don't use it, regardless of being equal tension. Some like to beef up their G string such that it is a higher tension than the others. However if you can find a .032 C you like it can be a good idea to equalise the tension with the G, or at least be no tighter, for playability reasons. So a .032 would work for me, if I like a normal .045 G ?
