'Do I Really Need Original Ground Wires'

Dropping a Flexcore 4band Preamp in my Lakland 55-01. Preamp has a ground slot to screw into. So if you know about the 55-01, it already has a screwed in ground wire in each pickup cavity. So my question is based on if I really need to use those. Since my pickup ground wires will be screwed into the ground slot of the preamp as well as the bridge ground. Any opinions would help thanks.

Check with your multimeter that all those points are at the same potential (continuity check). They should be close to zero Ohms apart. If not, then you'll need to connect them.
