Does anyone in the U.S. have the new version EBS flat patch cables in stock?

Opinionated blowhard. But not mad about it.

bassstringsonline.com does not

bestbassgear.com does not

Those are my go-to vendors. They are back ordered at both. Jason and Rob (Best Bass Gear) are saying the delay is on the EBS side of things. Just wondering if you guys know of anyone stateside that has them in stock.

I figured this questions worked here in effects because who else would need those cable other than us, right?

P.S. I just want to give these a try. No need to suggest other cables for now. Thanks.

Full Compass has 10 and 18 cm cables now. Last week they only had the 10's. I got a few and they just arrived. Outwardly they don't look any different except the logo on the plugs is colored silver now. But they worked and that's all I care.

Thanks. I was looking for the 11" (28cm?). They Re back orders a couple weeks.

I had a surprise when I received my new shipment of these today...

The original "PCF" cables have been discontinued... They have been replaced with a new "Deluxe" version that look exactly the same however they are described as "Double Shielded" and as "Flatter." I took a lot of time today fulfilling past orders of these. Those who had open orders were upgraded to the new "Deluxe" version of these. While I had some cables put aside for some who ordered a variety of sizes, they are now a mix of the original version and the "deluxe" version so I have messaged those users that I am waiting for additional "deluxe" versions of the cables to come in so they receive sets of MATCHING cables.

However the ICY (insert cable) has not and will not be changing.

Ya, they're expanding the product line to confuse us even more. There's now the regular ones that have an upgraded housing, the Deluxe with the upgraded housing and the extra shielding, and the Premium with gold plated ends. I'm sticking with the cheapos, but maybe the Deluxes would work better for Dannybuoy with the extra shielding...

No... There are no Regular ones that have been updated... They are CLEARLY indicated by the part number on the tag on the cables...

PCF-10, PCF-18, PCF-28, PCF-58 = Original Version

PCF-DL10, PCF-DL18, PCF-DL28, PCF-DL58 = New Deluxe Version

Anyone who tells you otherwise is not being honest with what they are selling... The original PCF's are no longer in production. I have remaining stock of the "Original PCF" which I will be blowing out as soon as I have my final quantities figured out.

So far the response has been very positive from the users who received the emails I sent regarding sending them all upgrade ones rather than mix and matching...

I'll take some comparison shots tomorrow as the connector head should be SLIIIGHTLY different. I couldn't tell from the naked eye but I wasn't comparing the two versions side by side.

Any orders that shipped from me today containing the 28cm and longer were the NEW version as I know a couple in this thread had orders for them...

Fresh from Full Compass, newest on the right (original on the left)

The actual cable molding is indeed different, the edges are very nearly squared-off and the cable itself feels slightly more flexible than the previous two iterations - the difference isn’t exactly night and day, don’t get excited.

Good info. The only ones I've had in stock have had the silver squiggly... That appears to be the update head that still had the PCF part number so I stand corrected.

I've been selling these for a while and I don't recall them not having the silver squiggly.
