Dope Amps - Guitar Center, Drugs - Oh, My!

If the Guitar Center employees call the police and turned over, let's say maybe $75,000 in drugs, what that really means is that the amp actually had $150,000 in drugs when it arrived.

I want to see whoever shipped that box file a lost package claim.
You would think someone would not be that dumb knowing what they were hiding, but you just don't know anymore.

This story does kind of hit home. In my previous career, close to 20 years ago, I was the manager of a transportation terminal. One day I get a call from my boss. He just said, hey, there will be some FBI and DEA agents at your office in a few minutes. I just found out, call me back after you find out what is going on. They got there and let me know that a large piece of equipment on our dock that was marked hold for pickup, had all kinds of drugs inside of it. Lots of drugs. We had set up an appt for the consignee to pick up that day at around lunchtime. The agents said they would be in the shadows and that there were already a lot of agents that had been there all morning that I didn't even know about . They told me to get the guys signature on the bill of lading and then don't say a word and just walk away and go to your office. This was crazy! Well, the guy shows up, seems pretty normal, and I get him to sign the bill. I then walked away, probably a little faster than I should have, and I hear all hell breaking loose behind me. It was like something out of a cop show.
