So I've been a Warmoth fan for a long time. I've owned 4 total builds and loved them all. Recently, they have become heavy and started hurting my shoulder. I ended up parting out the basses and selling here on TB. I've been wanting some nicer Ibanez basses for a while now, so I took this opportunity to buy a couple.
I traded my Wenge/Ebony neck on my White Warmoth P Bass for a 2006 Ibanez SR500 (right). This bass has the Wenge Neck with Bubinga stringers and a rosewood fretboard. It has a few dents and dings, but the bass plays and sounds amazing! I'm blown away with the overall quality of the early SR500s.
I then sold the P bass body to help fund a 2021 Ibanez SR5CMLTD (middle). I've always wanted a premium Ibanez bass and this one is amazing! Both the SR5CMLTD and SR500 are neck and neck for the best Ibanez basses I've ever played. The bass to the left is a SR300EB. It's a very nice bass, but doesn't really compare to the quality of the other two. All in all I'm ecstatic with my transactions!
