DR High Beams - Gauge Frustration

Any other regular DR High Beam users frustrated that they don't offer a set with a 100 gauge E and an 85 A? I like the feel on the Med. Lite set but A is always a little thin. Maybe just me-

I dont know a single manufacturer that makes a set. 085 .100....

I suggest talking to your favorite DR dealer and they will make that set for you.

When I got tired of trying to piece together my favorite DR 5 string gauges from various places, I ended up asking a guy I know that works at a guitar shop here in town. He simply said he'd order in a batch of however I wanted it. So I ordered a case, which I think is 10 sets(?). DR handwrote my gauges at the top of the packs. It sure took a load off of me waiting for singles to pop up.

Can get pretty close with 45 60 80 105 singles. Some do a .110

My issue is I don't need a fatter E string than 100 - I like the Roto 40 -95 gauge but I'm more of a DR guy- just wish they followed suit

Unsurprising they do not do a 100 85 set, seeing how that is even more unbalanced than 100 80 or 105 85. 100 75 would be similar tensions.
Choice of pre-packaged sets will always be very limited and mainstream due to the cost involved, so this is not surprising.
