Hello!
I am considering buying a Durham Sex Drive. From reviews I can understand that it is a beautiful-sounding pedal, but I haven’t found any clips or demos for the bass, on the web.

Could someone elaborate with a demo, about the sounds you can get out of this pedal, not only for me, but for the entire forum, as well.

*The gear I am using in a Roscoe Century 5, straight to a Markbass CMD121p. No other effects in the chain. Just want a light grit with compression.
**The music I play is funk, and soft rock.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not able to record or post a demo but wanted to be sure you saw this review of the Sex Drive. I agree totally with Bongo. Fwiw not sure how it will react to a high output active bass if you run yours hot but it does sound lovely with all my basses including my Peavey DynaBass Five in active mode (unity gain) and my EMG HB equipped Carvin LB50. The Sex Drive adds a suede-like warmth and just the right touch of compression. It is a little more saturated than the Ep type boost I use on my pedal board, but less than an OD on minimum.

Thank you very much for your swift reply! Of course I have read the ovnilab review, beforehand. It is the only thing that makes me want this pedal. What you say is very satisfying, though. Let's hope someone has a demo or a short clip.
