Earliest G&L with P-style pickup?

I recently read the SB-2 was first manufactured in 1982, but it appears they had two bar-style pups in that year.

What is the earliest year and model that a G&L bass had a P-style pickup (SB-1, SB-2, L-100, other)?

SB-1 switched to the P pickup around mid 1985.

SB-1 and SB-2 second generation around '84 or '85. The P is an MFD though, so pretty hot. Turned down, it sounds 'normal'.

If I'm remembering right the very first split coils SBs actually shipped with Schaller pickups (identical to a DiMarzio Model P, effectively). They permanently switched over to the current G&L made MFD split coil shortly after that.
