G.A.S. attack.... every since i played one of these I knew I wanted one... they have amazing necks and sound.

But,,they never had a color I liked.. until.... NOW.

Sweet! I'm not usually a fan of red finishes, but this one Rocks!

I've never tried a Bongo-6. Both of my 6ers have 35" scales, how taut is the low-B on the Bongo?

As a Ray-type player, I'm obligated toward a certain reverence for the Bongo, but I never saw one in person until yesterday, when someone had apparently ditched theirs at Guitar Center.

I just... The whole thing... So round, so smooth, so beautiful, and those crescent inlays...

No comment on tone. I was too swept away by how it felt to hold it and forgot to plug it in.

I have a Bongo5 H and it's absolutely killer in every way. EB doesn't offer single pickup Bongos anymore so if you can find a used one, I wouldn't hesitate. I think the single pickup versions absolutely slay the HH or HS configurations. The single pickup is in the sweet spot and you don't need to even touch the EQ. With the dual pickup versions, I find there are a ton of tonal options, but you can't nail "that" sound no matter what.

I was surprised that I liked it, but it was a very playable 6 string. Neck feels great.
