ebs valvedrive, what is it based on?

so i have the original, not the new one with DI. any idea what it's based on? is the schematic basically an svt, bassman, sunn preamp or something totally different? i want to find an amp with the same or similar preamp in it. technically i'm already there but... it's got me thinking

With the vintage circuit on, the Valve Drive uses two sections of a 12AX7 tube for gain amplifiers with 10 diodes arranged to clip the signal via feedback loop. It is basically a HV tube screamer with tube amps instead of an opamp.
