Elf 110 cab or Hartke 112

Hi, I'm thinking about buying one of this cabs, for using as a small equipment for smaller or low volume gigs.
For this reason it is not necessary that they can get really loud, but it's good to know which one can work better in case I could get in a situation that I need more volume. And of course tone differences.
About the Hartke, I'm talking about HD112 or HL112, as I understand they are pretty much the same (I prefer HL112 as it is lighter, and I don't need the 4/8 ohm switch).
I've never tried the Elf cabs, I have some curiosity if they work with a similar tone and as loud as the old 110 Promethean, for example, that could be nice.
Any help, advices or opinions will be appreciated.

I have GK 112S and a Mesa 115/210 stack and they are awesome. But I also have an Elf110 and that lil booger really impresses me every time I use it.

I would say that in a low-volume situation the biggest difference between the Elf and a Hartke 112 is actually the lack of a tweeter in the Elf. For me, it's a non-issue because I usually dial tweeters way back anyway. I don't like clank, zing, or fret noise, and I don't slap, and rarely play with a pick.

I you have a "regular" or full-size rig already, and the tweeter isn't a big deal to you, I would absolutely recommend the Elf. It's about half the weight and bulk of the 112 options, and sounds great. I play primarily 5 strings and the Elf has zero issues/farting out.

Every time I pick it up my back thanks me, and every time I play it I'm both amazed and amused at how good it sounds for being so little. I usually pair mine with a Warwick Gnome iPro (clean) or Tone Hammer 500 (if I want a little dirt.)

I found a good deal on a Hartke HL-112 (the new model, it only weights 24.8lb / 11.3kg), so I can get the Hartke or the T.E. for a similar price.
I had doubts about the Hartke, as I tried a HX-112 long time ago, and found it not as powerful as I thought it would be (could it be a deffective unit?). However I understand that later models, HD112 and HL112 have a better range and response.
Portability and confidence in case I need to push volume a little more, these are the main features I'm looking for.
I don't need a tweeter, I preffer a more classic sound with nice low mids.

I can say portability on the TE cab is top notch, they are 16lbs. If you give a little up on the bass side and push the low mids more, these are astonishingly loud for the package size. The wiring connectors take 1/4 and speakon, which is nice.

The HD112 is fuller sounding - so you'll get more of everything - louder bass. Take that bass signal out of the equation and you can turn the 110 cabinet up louder, but it'll be really honky sounding. Basically the 110 will only get louder if you dial the bass back and don't overload the driver with bottom-end that can stress it.
