EMG MM pickup in the bridge position: experiences

Hello, I'm looking for anyone with experience with the EMG MM pickup models; all of them - the MMHZ, MMTW and MMCS.

I can't find any video or audio examples unfortunately (and incredibly).

I'm looking to replace the Delano MC 4 HE/S with something smoother, more hi fi sounding. The Delano has a slightly rough quality in the upper mids to my ears.

Any input/experience would be extremely useful.

MAny thanks in advance

Kev

Look for videos on the 35 or 40 versions. It's the same pickup - either the CS, the TW, or the HZ - under a different shell.

I love the CS-X in the Panther. Even in the bridge position it has loads of low-end, with fantastic clarity. That's the new X series, by the way, which is also available in the MM shell. Edit: sorry, no it's apparently not...

Something more hi fi sounding than a Delano? Really? I also happen to think that the MMHZ is a very good pickup that competes well in its range, I think it performs very well as compared with the Bartolini Classic Bass I also tried, for instance. Lace is going to be a lot of things but I don't think the Man O' War MM is going to be more hi-fi than a Delano. Maybe a Lace Aluma Bassbar 3.5 and just stick it in there since it'll fit in that route, lol.

Also, you're running in parallel, right? Because if you're running in series, you're going to get more mids.
