Eminence: Kappalite 3012LF vs Delta 12LFA

[Acid Test]

Can anybody offer an opinion on how these two speakers sound compared to each other? Any other opinions?

Looking to put these in an Avatar 2x12 bass cap that is ported.

Your best bet would be to find whatever the cab is ported to work with.

The 3012LF will top out at around 2khz. If your 212 has the typical tweeter with no mid driver, you'll have pretty much nothing between 2khz and 3.5khz. The deltaLF will do a little better, topping out around 3khz. The best choice would be the Deltalite II, which tops out at around 4.3khz.

I had a Dr. bASS 2-12 cabinet for a while that was just like that - two Delta 12LF drivers and a Selenium tweeter, with nothing in between to fill out the much required midrange.
