I played a private event with some very special guests. We drank, sang songs, danced and then went next door to church and sang a latin mass and prayed. I can't possibly make that up...

Great story, but what is with the old guy who stepped up to your bass during the photo shoot???
Haha! Is that what you see?! Oh man, usually people say just the opposite, I don't know, he looks great from where I'm standing! Except for some of the band I was one of the youngest in the room;). Course, no one there was thinking about age and if they were they certainly weren't acting like it. Emmylou and Joan danced to our music like two drunk college girls. If I can look as good as Emmylou, Joan, Steve and Robert Plant in twenty five years I'll be delighted!

If it counts for anything..I was once at a private social gathering of spiritual nature and watched Joanie's son garden hose her off while she rolled gleefully in the mud.... :)

yeah Jason, it has been worth something...the guy who stepped up to schmooze her..let's just say he didn't do so well..:) I'm so glad I didn't force the situation beyond anything but having a good time.

The stars have huge egos, are very protected, if you mess with their space, there can be hell to pay. You've got a nice thing going there, making great music with great people, you did all the right things, and you deserve it! Personally, I think I might break out in hives if i was anywhere near Robert Plant...LOL...
