Hello!!
I just bought the body and neck from one of those old epi Accu basses and ive read that theyre pretty solid so im trying to turn those into a fretless project.
So heres my question, anyone know what nut size fits the neck of the standard accu bass? also, i would like to get a bridge that fits because when i got the bass it had no saddles on it. Lastly, does anyone know if a squier p base pickguard would fit this?

I know I have a bridge from the earlier versions (like this) you can have if you want it. It is not shiny and new looking but would probably clean up pretty nicely.

I might even have the black guard and some other parts from it as well. It has some swirling if I recall. I haven't looked at it in years. I'll have a look when I get home tonight. You can have whatever I've got if you're in North America and it won't cost a zillion dollars to get it to you. This stuff has been laying around my house for years. I'm sure about the bridge and 50/50 on the other stuff. (I might even have the original wiring harness and pickup, etc.) I'll confirm later.

Nice. I was just thinking that I have that bridge somewhere, also. You got here first, though.

Not a prob, I called a local Luthier and he had an extra saddle for a few bucks, so that fixes it for me! I think I'm going to go get it tomorrow or Saturday. I just needs the nut and the saddle. $65 for the bass, $15 for those pieces.

Thanks

Glad it worked out. I won't say it would be easy but, if needed, those saddles could be made out of some brass stock however, if you're paying someone else, it would probably be cheaper to wait for a whole bridge to come up on eBay or Reverb.
