ESP LTD B-414 SM - half price!!

I'm about to place an order for an Ibanez SR370E, but I've seen what appears to be a silly deal on the ESP LTD B414 SM. Does anyone know much about this bass? How it compares to others?

Is this worth considering, or should I stick with the option it has taken me 2 months to get to?

I like blue so I'd pick the Ibanez. You have blue in your user name.

Other than that I'd pick which ever you prefer. Getting the one you're happier with will make you a better player than getting the "right one". Both are capable of making excellent basslines.

In all honesty, I'm not really a fan of blue guitars, even with such a nick name. I'm a bit gutted I missed the SR400EQM in Fade Blue Burst though, but that looks grey to me rather than blue.

It's the Aged Whisky Burst that I like, especially after seeing some 'real life' photos in which the finish looks darker than on the Ibanez website.

I only looked at the ESP it was heavily reduced, so I guess it may be better in some ways but possibly not in others. If it had been available at the same price in a dark finish I would have been more tempted.
