everytime I put on flats I miss my rounds and vice versa

I know the obvious choice is to have the same bass with both installed.

But The bass is to expensive to have 2 of

sooo I guess I will just have my p with flats and my alembic with rounds and live happily ever after

disclaimer: this post may be pointless but its snowing here in the northeast and my hand cramped from playing all am!

Sounds like you have the right idea! :thumbsup:

I used to flip back and forth between flats and rounds when I had only one bass.
Then when I got my second bass, I decided to put flats on one and rounds on the other. Logical, right?

Now I'll be putting GHS Pressurewounds on both of my basses (Fender P & J) so I can live happily ever after. ;)
 
I have 14 basses pretty evenly divided:
5 Rounds
4 Flats
4 Tapewounds
1 Pressurewounds (most recent and becoming my new favorite)

Good to have choices.
On my fretlesses/fretli (?) tapes on 3, Flats on the other.
