Exactly 20 years later, I'm back!

Back in 2000, I was a regular member of TalkBass. I had one account that got hosed, and then opened a new one, which I used a bit: xtian But the internet was pretty poor where I lived, and I faded away.

Now I'm back!

For two reasons:
1. I've begun playing music (not just acquiring gear) in earnest again. Old bandmates from 15-20 years ago are scattered all over the world, but we have begun writing new material and sharing files over the internet. We each lay down a track, upload the file to the shared GoogleDrive, and then we each do our own mixdowns of the tracks! It's super cool, and the collaborations are bringing up some really interesting new stuff.

2. I want to find my old Dingwall. I had it custom-made, and had to sell it due to financial hardships, but I'd like to find it again and buy it back from whoever currently owns it. It is pretty unique, so it shouldn't be hard to find.

Anyway, happy to be a denizen of the church of the low-end again!

Nice, welcome back and post up what you’re working on. I am currently working on a similar project where I’m doing most of the recording etc and have guys loading their tracks into Dropbox and then keep working away at all hours that would never be conducive otherwise. Maybe I should start a separate thread for “virtual bands”....

Thanks everyone! I found the photos and serial number (5542) of my Dingwall, see attachments.

Finding these photos really makes me miss the bass even more. I'd love any help/suggestions anyone has on finding it. (I've already posted to the "Dingwall Club" thread, but not to the Wanted section yet... should I?)
