Does anyone know when Fender introduced the "Posiflex Graphite Neck Support Rods" to their American Deluxe Precision basses? I've got a red-hot line on one of them right now, and the owner can't tell me whether or not the neck has the graphite rods.
I don't know the production year just now, I hope to find out later today. What I can tell you, though, is that it has the double-J humbucker in the bridge position, so as far as I've been able to determine, that makes it pre-2010. Hopefully, I'll be able to nail down production year later today as I mentioned.
It's extremely important to me to make reasonably sure the neck is graphite-reinforced because I'm in Arizona, and the climate changes around here make necks go wonky over time... so if anyone here can shed light on when the "Posiflex graphite rods" were introduced - or maybe that the American Deluxe series always had them - I would be grateful to hear from you one way or another.
Thanks in advance.
