Fender Bassman 250 - 210

A quick search didn't give me the results I was hoping for. I bought a used Fender Bassman 250-210 about a year ago for what qualifies as an absolute bargain ($175 CAD). It was in a second hand furniture shop, took it home, replaced the tweeter fuse, and boom, I'm golden. Fast forward, after a bunch of bar gigs (monitor with DI to FOH) and lots of basement time, one of the factory Eminence speakers is beginning to fart (and not in a nice grreasy, splattery way- bawhaahaah!).
Question to all my fellow TB'ers and tech gurus, do I replace with Eminences, or does anyone have any suggestion for anything better? I dont want to spend a boat load of money, and I figure I should probably switch both of them out. Whatchoothink??

Yes, I would. You could recone the one offending woofer as that is the cheapest way to go. Your combo would be out of commission while the recone is being done. So the quickest and easiest thing to do is buy a new pair and install in an hours time. Here take your pick:
Bass Guitar | Eminence Speaker

another thing if you haven't done this already is to pull both woofers and make sure the leads are crimped tightly on the woofer's tabs. Then retorque each woofer carefully using a star pattern just like changing a tire.
