I bought one of these stands and dug it enough to get a second at the sale price. Seems a lot more stable with the axe hanging from the neck.
Also I have a jazz bass that I refinished in white nitro lacquer, and 5 months later it Still gets marks on it from regular stands (on the bottom). This style stand keeps it clean and maybe it'll eventually cure.
