I am refinishing the body of a Fender Jazz Bass that I recently bought. The neck serial is Z3229826 which from my research is a 2003-2004 Fender Jazz Bass made in USA.The last digit of the date in the neck cavity is illegible but could easily be a 3 or 4. However, in the pickup cavity there's an "SB" which made me think it was a Squire Bass and that I was duped and bought a Fender neck with a Squire body. I can't find much info online for identifying Jazz Bass bodies. In the other pickup cavity there is a number with bar code "006192-940" but couldn't find what that means either. Anyone have any ideas?
