I came across a 2019 Mexican Deluxe 5-string. The action was a little high, but overall played and sounded good. The body was clean and a tobacco burst.
Is $650 a good price? Are there any issues with these basses?

My other basses are American, a Precision and a Pedulla.

You can research the price range for the JB Deluxe V by doing a search in the classifieds here and on other buy/sell music gear sites, looking at both completed sales and any that might still be up for sale. That way you won't be relying on opinions of others and you'll get a good idea of the marketplace. Just remember that actual sale prices are sometimes less than the asking price.
