Fender Pawn Shop Mustang Bass (MiM) question....

Hey all,

I just bought a "Brand New" Fender Pawn Shop Mustang (MiM) online from a dealer, and it came very nicely mummified in bubble wrap, minus gig bag, or case. My ? Is, do these pawn shop mustang's come with a case or bag from Fender? From my research, It looks like they might have come with a gig bag. Any help?
Thanks,
Paul

Yes, these particular models were supposed to come with a gig bag. If you payed full price for this bass, I would definitely suggest that you contact the dealer the bass was purchased from to see if they could make some sort of price adjustment for your inconvenience... Or at the very least, ship you one of those fender short scale urban gig bags to make things right. Even if you did purchase the bass at a discount (being that it has been discontinued), I would still see what the dealer could do for you and purchase the gig bag separately if all else fails and you like the bass.
Good luck

Thanks for the replies! I was able to plug it in and mess with it today. Feels nice. Ordered some La Bella strings for it also today. Under close inspection, there is some slight buckle wear around back. And the fact it didn't come with a case of any kind, leads me to believe although no one has bought it, it might have been a demo. Other than a smidge of buckle wear though it is in new condition. But, "brand new" is supposed to be just that. Fender's website states it came (comes) with a Deluxe gig bag. So, ya! I'm not real mad. But, it's the principle, right? Anyway, thanks for the replies, all...I appreciate it!
