Fender Super Bassman 300 with Active Bass

Works absolutely fine with my Dingwall, and the Sadowsky before I sold it a while ago. You have absolutely nothing to worry about with an active bass.

+1 beautiful with an active Jazz 5 & EBMM Stingray 5, as well as passive Ps, Js, every bass I've played thru it has been the best it's sounded
Thanks guys. I'm dead set on getting one. I used to have a similar Musicman head, but only 75 watts.
Usually one or 2 Fender Bassman Pro Neo 115 cabs or sometimes Bergantino NV412 or AE410

I finally got a SB 300, read the manual and discovered that the second input is for active basses.
The only reason you should need to use that input is if the signal is getting clipped using the #1 input.
I only use it when I'm plugging in my keyboard bass as well as my bass guitar.

I never have a problem.. last night i was jamming with some guys.. i was on three with master.. they were telling me to turn down.. and we were in a huge nice out building! It sounded fine to me with the Spector bass i was using.. they said it was doing this to them!
Well you just adjust the knobs to suit. I am not an electric engineer but a 9 volt battery or two just boosts the signal strength a bit. Respond in kind at the amp head. I was playing a battery loaded Spector and passive basses too if my memory serves me well when I got my Super bassman. No Big . Dial in to suit. G&L MFD is a little hotter than my also passive Fenders. Just spin the dial on the bass or amp. Best
