Yesterday Fender dropped their modeler pedal, but also dropped two powered speakers, both rated at 1000 watts, a 1x12 and a 1x10. Being that I have a preamp on every one of my pedalboards, and also use an HX Stomp, but currently don't have an amp for the few times I need one, do you all think this is a viable option for small gigs/rehearsals?

Well, I just unboxed my New Tone Master FR-12. Fit and Finish is gorgeous, Even though like when I received my ACB50 there was a huge hole in the box. Cabinet not damaged thankfully. Real quick power up and test with a recorded source, unit works. EQ is very responsive, Output no where even close to a "1000w" FRFR Powered speaker. Cabinet seems to have a lot of low end, Now I will have to try it with a B6 and Helix using a actual bass to see if it has a place in the arsenal long term or if it goes back. More to come.

Any update on how it goes with bass? Thinking this (or a pair if needed) could be a good stage monitor if it works well

I just played a 3 hour New Years swing dance on double bass with a Full Circle and pre-amp through the Tone Master FR-10. The amp was tilted back using the built in legs. Piano, trumpet, and drums were acoustic, the only mics were on vocals and clarinet.

I had a Two Notes Opus sitting on top with a bass preset and it was nice and easy to get a warm sound using a preset. The Opus doubled as a tuner/mute.

It wasn't a very loud audience, and we were basically an acoustic jazz group, but I'm still pretty happy with how well it projected to the audience and sounded on stage.
