FENDER VINTAGE NOISELESS™ JAZZ BASS PICKUPS

Anybody tried the FENDER VINTAGE NOISELESS™ JAZZ BASS PICKUPS?

I have an older MIM Jazz that has a high frequency noise I just haven't been able to tame well even with shielding (although changing instrument cable length helped) so these pickups piqued my interest.

The description says less mids and the demonstration video on Fender's website is horrible.

Opinions?

I don't know which iteration the OP is referring to, because I believe Fender Noiseless J-bass pickups are now in about their 5th iteration. I had a set of "55's" split-coil in a bass: really clean, really good top end, kind of between a "vintage" and a Dimarzio Ultra-Jazz. The bobbins and frame were a little bit flimsy, and in the end I sold them due to change in bands and change in the tone I wanted out of the particular J-bass they were installed in.
