I got some from ebay, a guy in Kentucky or around there, they were perfect. Can't remember his company name.
There is a lot more that goes into a quality water slide than I thought. I am also looking for a couple water slides to throw onto a couple necks. Man, there is a difference in quality of ink. Didn’t really think about that, or know if it mattered, but it’s something to consider.
Oldfret.com seems to have the most accurate Fender decals, using metallic inks. I purchased a pair of 1960 Jazz Bass headstock units recently and they arrived on time, and on-target.

What era of Fender decal? You can easily find the 60s font but finding the 70s style is a little difficult (the less counterefieted stuff...) Rothko and Frost are a good option. I have a contact in Britain who makes some great decals too, just PM if you cannot find what you are after.

There's a guy on TGP called Telebluze I've dealt with a few times. he does pretty good quality accurate decals of all kinds.
That is a cool idea. Some sellers on Ebay have Fender logo stickers I think.
Your sons should do what I learned to do, and draw the Fender logo on anything that sits still for long enough! I've had Fender-branded breakfast cereal, notebooks....
