If you want a stellar teacher, I’d avoid rock music stores and classified ads, then. Instead, look to accredited academia. Hit up your local colleges and Universities, and contact their bass teachers. You’ll want someone with experience teaching a comprehensive curriculum—not just someone who teaches your favorite rock songs.
