Finger injury! A bit graphic...be aware

So, had a run in with the leaf blower today. Didn't cut it to the bone...but she was close. It's on my ring finger...fretting with it is going to be impossible for a while. Band is working hard to get tight before our first gig after a line up change.

Anyone ever have any similar finger injuries?
How long did it take to heal?
Seen some finger guards on Amazon...Anyone use them? Pretty gnarly pic tho eh?

I did this with a table saw two years ago this coming December 23rd. It is still sensitive and also numb at the same time......it's a strange combination of sensations. With your injury on the pad like that.....I don't know, seems like it will be a long time......

Same here after a similar run in with a table saw. The pad of the thumb had a combination of numbness and tingling for well over a year.
