TLDR: Can i use the footswitch from a GK MB Fusion in a Fender rumble 100?

____

I tried searching this topic and ran through the FAQs, so sorry if this has been discussed numerous times before...

I bought a practice amp last night, for home use. (Fender rumble 100) It had more headroom than i thought, and is infinitely more portable than my 4x10 and amp head set up, and i was thinking about maybe using it at some of my P&W gigs since stage volume is typically very low. (Or zero, but that's something else.)

I have a footswitch that i never use from my main head and was wondering if i could use it with this one. I typically run different pedals at a church than i do at a typical gig, and just using the footswitch in the P&W setting would be helpful.

I know its only like $35 bucks for the fender one, but i already have one that may work, so why spend the money?

Thanks in advance...

Maybe is the best answer.

Some Fender products (thinking the Mustang and GDEC type stuff) uses a 1/4" TS connector BUT actually communicates programmable switch data rather than a simple contact closure. This is guaranteed to be the case on the multi-button foot switches.

This is a good case of reading and understanding the information provided and if there is any doubt contact the manufacturers to be sure you understand completely how they work.
