Here's a rockin' SB-2 that was a special order for Brian in Milwaukee. Thanks, Brian!

It didn't come across very well in the photos, but the fretboard on this one is insanely gorgeous. It's a quartersawn neck, and the rays are about as perpendicular to the face of the fretboard as I've ever seen. So there are tons of cool rays shooting out all over the face of the fretboard. It adds some serious natural bling to a very cool basic black instrument.

The neck pickup tone is to die for. Huge booty for days, but not at all muddy.

It feels like I've been less than active here the past couple/few weeks, and that's mainly because I'm wading through a mountain of new G&L instruments here. Getting them all unboxed, photographed and listed on our site is challenging but also VERY fun!

I JUST put the finishing touches on the details of the 10th guitar I've listed so far this week, and that's me knocking out all of the guitars that have arrived. I've got probably 8-10 basses to wade through next, but I'm going to take a breather. In the meantime, I figured I'd post some of the guitar goodness in case any of you TB'ers also play guitar or if you know any guitar players looking for a G&L. I've been concentring on their basses so much, I never gave their guitars a second thought. Obviously, that has now changed. Still, I want to find a home for this lonely G&L guitar before it celebrates another birthday here. To help do that, I am discounting it heavily. $849 shipped takes it. It's still considered brand new, full warranty, etc. And it has lived it's entire life in the case and in the shipping box on a shelf here at our store. There's not a thing wrong with it, other than I did it the disservice of stranding it as the lone G&L guitar here at our store for a long, long time. Shame on me.

I've got about a dozen new basses that have arrived and another 6-8 on the way... so I better get to work!!

Here's the first one I've posted, it's a gorgeous JB in Vintage White w/ a matching headstock. The body wood is Empress, so this bass is relatively light for a JB (just 8.7 lbs).

The neck is the 1/5" Nut Width with a 12" radius.

How 'bout this sexy SB-2? This is one of the ones finished in Nitro, and it is drop dead gorgeous in person.

Don't mind what look like scratches on the pickguard. I leave the protective film on all my G&L pickguards while they're here at the store, and that takes the scratches if/when people try these. The guard itself stays pristine that way.
