G&L LB-100 Pickup Replacement

I currently have an LB-100 and an SB-2. I really like the higher output and tone of the MFD pickup. G&L sells MFD pickups for bass on their website. I was wondering if that would be a drop replacement for the Alnico pickups in the LB-100. Anyone here do that or have knowledge about it? I don't want to get into removing wood or anything else drastic on the LB-100 to switch it over.

I'm in a similar situation with my LB-100.
I've considered installing a SB MFD split pickup, but I'm not sure that's the sound I'm looking for.
I'm sure they fit into a LB-100 without any issues.
You may want to check out the Nordstrand NP4.
Both pickups from what I've read are great pickups.
