Can someone please tell me why gallien kruegers mb410 combos are so much cheaper priced than say a Gallien Krueger Neo Cab and an MB500 head. Are the cabs that much better on the Neo Cabs? Or are the Amps better when when you buy the separate Mb heads somehow. It seems like 800 bucks or whatever the axact price is of the MB410II combos is a beat cheap for the that much wattage and that many speakers. So what is the catch? Why is the price so much lower between mb410II and the seperate MB500 head and neo cab set up?

He can't be a man cause he doesn't play an Ampeg tube head, double stack 4x12s, or smoke the same cigarettes as me.
The combos are so good these days that they rival the equivialent head and cab.
To me it just seems like there is this unspoken rule that if you have a combo, you ain't cool.
I will admit, as one who did the garage band scene in the late sixties, I still have trouble with little combo amps on an emotional level. Intellectually, I know it's wrong. And I am shopping for a combo bass. The head cab also allows for more flexibility, in most cases. My 2 cents.

The MB combos have piezo tweeters without a crossover to keep costs down. Their cheaper cabs do too. If tweeters are unimportant to you, like seemingly %99.9999 of everyone on here, than buy one, turn off the tweeter and be happy. I can't stand piezos.
