Genz Benz Shuttle 3-10T rattle

Greetings!
I have gigged this little rig a cazillion times with no issues - until recently: it has developed a rather nasty "rattle" sound on the lower freq ranges, even at relatively low volume. None at higher registers/relatively high volume. (tried 3 different basses, made sure the power cord was well seated, checked to make sure there were no loose amp head/grill/speaker screws, tried a different power cord, different instrument cable).

After a quick browse, I discovered virtually no well-known issues of this type with this amp.

Any ideas would be much appreciated....
Live well!

On my first 3.0 the sliders for the di out settings on the back were rattling. They would resonate with a certain frequency. Maybe check those.

Checked that too - almost sounds like something is touching the speaker cone. I've had speakers with cracked cones sound sort of similar, and I've had active basses sound similar if the batteries were dying.

Is there a wire that can come loose and hang inside and touch the cone?

Yes I've had that happen too. Easy fix, just take the speaker out and fasten the wire or rotate the speaker so it's not touching anything.
