getting a new bass with pickups i have never heard of or listen to

bought this bass from sweet waterwater music or my wife did for my birthday, but i have never heard or seen these pickups, i have on computer but pc speakers suck, so has any one heard of chi sonic pickups

Yes, I believe they're a modern take on the old (Hagstrom and) Guild "Dark Star" Bisonic pickups made famous by Phil Lesh and Jack Casady (though the ones in the pic look smaller, maybe they've got a small form factor version or maybe it's a different model). In any case, very well regarded around here, big thick tone like no other single coil pickups.

Edit: yup, the Chi-Sonics have the smaller form factor, I had forgotten that: Welcome to Hanson Pickups!
