Hey guys, first post on here for a good ten or so years!
I've recently got back into bass and decided keep myself busy with a little project; putting some RD standard pickups I acquired years ago into an Epiphone EB-3.
Seemed like a cool thing to do, but as I was measuring up the pickups I noticed the black wire on the back of the bridge pickup had come loose, I soldered it back to the place I believe it had come lose from just before my soldering iron conveniently decided to break..
I honestly know nothing about old vintage pickups and I thought I'd ask on here to see if anyone knows if this thing is now a gonner while I wait for my new soldering iron to show up? If so, I'm terribly sorry I've ruined such a rare item
I've attached a stock image of the pickups and how far I got resoldering mine before the iron gave out
I hope we're all staying safe!
Cheers
